After completing a physical science unit on energy, our 7th grade students participated in a roller coaster lab. During the lab, students designed and tested roller coaster models to explore how height, speed, and the arrangement of objects in a system affect potential and kinetic energy. Mayville Track had another great meet on Tuesday, 5/5, despite the cold and windy conditions! The girls won and the boys came in 2nd, just two points out of 1st at the North Fond du Lac Conference Quad event. Going into the Conference Meet next week the girls have beaten 52 teams and lost to only six teams. The boys have beaten 40 teams and lost to 10.
