MHS Future Business Leaders of America Students Compete in Regional Event
On Saturday, February 3, 2024, six Mayville High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) students competed in the Region 6 event hosted at Chilton High School, Chilton, WI, accompanied by FBLA Adviser and Business Education Teacher Heddy Pahnke.
There were 26 schools in attendance; 500 onsite participants and an additional 100 students who competed in online events. There are an assortment of categories to select from, including production testing, objective testing and speaking events.
The following Mayville High School students participated: Word Processing (production testing) - Angelina T. placing 2nd; Accounting 2 (objective testing) - Ashlynn L. placing 1st; Public Speaking (speaking event) - Helen V. placing 3rd; and Sales Presentation (speaking event) Claire T., Kristen K., and Gianna S. placing 3rd.

The State Leadership Conference will take place on April 8-9, 2024, in Green Bay, WI. Students will compete with the hopes of advancing to the national level which will take place in Orlando, FL, June 29 - July 2.
